THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, THE THORN, and MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS to join the Easter lineup on UP Faith & Family. 

 

The leading streaming service to watch uplifting movies and series, UP Faith & Family is celebrating the Easter season all month long with 40 titles about prayer, forgiveness, compassion, redemption and miracles.

THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST

 Academy Award-winning director Mel Gibson offers audiences breathtaking cinematography and the seamless performance of actor Jim Caviezel in an uncompromising film depicting Jesus Christ’s profound courage and sacrifice. The film dramatically captures the last 12 hours of Christ’s life on Earth, based on the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

 Rated TV-14-V for violence (a few very careful content edits were made in some of the more violent scourging scenes) THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, starring Jim Caviezel, Monica Bellucci, and Maia Morgenstern, will air back-to-back with limited commercial interruption on Good Friday.

THE THORN

 The live theatrical FATHOM production phenomenon, is brought to life for the screen, using a variety of performance styles (drama, dance, aerial acrobatics, martial arts, and music) to tell the story of Jesus Christ, from creation to the resurrection.

When a slave boy stumbles upon the last living disciple of Jesus, the old man recounts his memories of the life and death of the Messiah. Performed with music, dance and acrobatics this theatrical performance was captured live on stage.
