New Documentary Blends Science, Scripture, and First-Person Accounts to Answer the Church’s Most Pressing Questions About UFOs, Aliens, and Humanity’s Place in the Universe

UFOs and GOD explores the UFO craze and its impact on Christians, featuring experts in astronomy, theology, sociology, military intelligence, archaeology, biblical history, experiencers, and astrophysics — including astrophysicists Dr. Hugh Ross and Dr. Jeff Zweerink, apologist Greg Koukl, and former Navy radar operator Gary Voorhis.
Unlike other documentaries and films on the subject, UFOs and GOD goes beyond sweet little aliens befriending children or causing adults to abandon their families to purse their obsession. The documentary begins with the story of Director Amanda Llewellyn, who was abducted as a child. After discovering that her own encounters matched what many others described, she and her husband, Wes, set out across the United States to interview pastors, scientists, theologians, astronomers, and people off the street. Some have mind-blowing stories; others think it’s all a hoax.
In conjunction with the documentary, Warfel is also releasing a companion book, UFOs and God, which expands on the film’s themes in a conversational and accessible format. The book equips readers to understand the phenomenon through a biblical lens and offers practical guidance for spiritual discernment.
