Stephen King on Battling Evil with Faith in “IT”

From page to screen, Stephen King explores the battle between good and evil in “IT”

With a massive, $117 million opening weekend, Warner Bros. and New Line’s It –based upon the Stephen King by the same name—has delivered a record-breaking opening. The film claimed the largest September opening, the largest Fall opening, the largest opening for an R-rated horror film, and the largest opening weekend for a horror film of any MPAA rating.

Tracking wise, a good percentage of the audience who saw the movie were people of faith.

In a special video featurette, King talks about faith, and how it’s inspired him to come up with many of his stories that center on the battle between good and evil.
