This June, urban sci-fi meets psychological thriller with ISA, the first original movie from Fluency Productions, NBCUniversal Hispanic Enterprises and Content’s new multi-format, multi-platform production studio.

isa1The film will be shown in English across various NBCUniversal television channels including: Syfy on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:30 pm ET/PT; Chiller on Tuesday, June 17 at 8:00 pm ET/PT; and mun2 on Friday, June 27 at 7 pm ET/PT.  In addition, the film will air on Telemundo later this summer.

ISA will also be available via mobile, digital and VOD platforms, across TVE platform for Syfy, Telemundo and mun2, and for purchase on iTunes, Amazon plus Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, XBOX Video, Playstation Store, Vudu, MGO, Verizon FlexView and InDemand.

Written and directed by Cuban-born Jose Nestor Marquez, ISA is his feature film directorial debut.  The film features a unique mix of television and social media stars including newcomer Jeanette Samano, urban pop singer Sabi, YouTube stars Tim Delaghetto, Eric Ochoa, and Primetime/Novela stars Khotan Fernandez and Ana Layevska.

Isa Reyes (Jeanette Samano) is a whiz kid with a bright future until doctors find a chip inside her brain and she is forced to confront the dark secrets of her past. As the chip causes her dreams to merge with reality, Isa is hunted down by a ruthless scientist (Ana Layevska) working on behalf of a Wall Street firm that uses children as human computers. When Isa is captured, her best friend Nataly (Sabi) and security guard Jaime Diaz (Eric Ochoa aka SUPEReeeGO) come to her aid.
